Photography
Photography has been a hobby of mine for about thirty years, so I have used film for a long time, I switched to digital about seven years ago.
My first camera.
My first ever SLR camera was a Pentax K1000. I started digital with a Fuji S7000 digital compact camera, and switched to a Nikon D70 DSLR after about two years.
The trusty D70 is now going into semi retirement, in favour of a shiny new Nikon D5000 DSLR.
So how good is the new Nikon and why did I change?
Well, as good as the D70 still is, I felt I would benefit from having more resolution, and the D5000 has a 12M pixel sensor. Also it has the facility for live view on a fairly large LCD screen which can be angled to suit for low or high angle shots- great for us photographers who aren’t quite as flexible as we used to be!
